DATA PRIVACY NOTICE FOR OVERSEAS JOB PLACEMENT APPLICANTS

In view of Republic Act No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act (DPA) of 2012, we at 7107 Islands Placement and Promotions, Inc. assure you that any personal information you give or already gave us, as well as information we will collect and already collected from legitimate sources. This personal information refers to any information that may identify you as an individual, such as your name, age, date of birth, residential address, email address, nationality, gender, marital status, religious affiliation, other contact information, employment preferences, educational and employment background, skills, personality attributes, facial photograph, signature, as well as government-issued membership or account numbers and identification cards, licenses, certifications, and other credentials that are particular to you. Personal information may also include any court proceedings for any offense committed or alleged to have been committed by you, whether pending or terminated, and the court's judgment or final order in such proceedings. There is personal information considered sensitive, such as your health condition as may be contained in required medical reports. We may also collect personal information though audio and video recordings of your job interviews.

We will collect and use your personal information for purposes of processing your overseas job application, as your personal information has to be submitted and disclosed to the concerned government agencies as required by law and to the potential foreign employer for purposes of employment selection and complying with government entry protocols of the place of employment, among others.

While you may choose to withhold disclosure of certain personal information, it may adversely affect your overseas job placement application if the withheld personal information is/are required to be disclosed by the concerned government agencies and/or the foreign employer. You will be guided as to which personal information is required to be disclosed to and collected by us.

In the event your job placement application is not accepted by any foreign employer, or is denied or deferred for whatever reason, we may keep your personal information for purposes of possible overseas job placement in the future.

We may disclose your personal information to law enforcement, regulatory and government agencies, and other authorized third parties, in accordance with and only up to the extent required by applicable laws or regulations, or subpoenas and lawful orders in legal proceedings.

We have adequate security measures to protect the confidentiality of personal information to mitigate risk of data breaches. Employees have no access to any personal information, except you with respect to your own personal information, and those employees particularly authorized to process your personal information, who are nevertheless under obligation to keep personal information confidential.
